2022 Fall Step Retreat
Triangle Area Intergroup Retreat Committee is grateful to once again be able to offer an in-person retreat. We welcome anyone seeking recovery to join us for an uninterrupted stretch of time with one-to-one guidance from a facilitator to work “The Steps.” We offer a dedicated space for thoroughly working “Steps 1 – 9 ” and a “Getting Started” track for those new to recovery or anyone looking to develop a Sobriety Plan. We also offer one-on-one sessions with a facilitator for “Steps 10, 11, and 12.” These facilitated hour-long individual sessions are by appointment only.
The event fee covers expenses including
- rent for venue
- lodging for anyone wishing to spend the night on-site
- a printed copy of the “Recovery Manual” for attendees that need a copy
- catered meals throughout the weekend
- drinks and snacks available to attendees anytime during the event

In order to protect all of the participants at this event, we ask that you are up-to-date on your COVID vaccinations as defined by the CDC. You are considered up-to-date with your COVID vaccinations if you have received all doses in the primary series and all booster doses recommended for you when eligible.
No one will ask you to prove your vaccination status at the Retreat.
Facemasks are optional and their use will be left up to individual descretion.
Please complete the registration process if you are planning to attend the retreat either as a participant or as a facilitator of one of the tracks. Accurate registration numbers help the Retreat Plan Committee plan catering and the amount of space we will need at the venue.
Payment is not required at the time of registration and early registration is encouraged.
The Triangle Area Intergroup Retreat Committee has elected to use a third-party vendor (Square) to accept credit card transactions. The personal information that must be provided will remain in Square’s care. The transaction details disclosed are governed by Square’s Privacy Policies and only a limited number of trusted servants from the Retreat Committee will have access to that information. These include the Retreat Committee Chairman, Retreat Committee Treasurer, and Retreat Committee Registrar.
You may pay the retreat fees at any time after registration or in-person at check-in on the day that you arrive. Paying in advance will shorten the check-in process and is greatly appreciated. We will accept credit card payments at the event.
Please contact the Registrar as soon as possible if you have signed up for the retreat and are unable to attend. If you have paid in advance we will refund all or a portion of your fees depending on when we receive notification of cancellation.

Support Our Retreat
The Triangle Area Intergroup Retreat Committee is always looking for volunteers to assist with organization, promotion, or working at the event itself. Please contact the Registrar if you are interested in learning about the available service opportunities.
If you are unable to attend this year’s Fall Retreat, consider donating a partial or full scholarship to someone in need. The gift of recovery is one of the best gifts we can give. You can donate any amount you choose to the scholarship fund. We carry over any unused scholarship funds from one retreat to another.
We are committed to upholding our Tradition of Anonymity and all registration information is confidential. Registration participant data is retained for one calendar year. After one calendar year, all participant data is removed and deleted from the registration entries. The attendance numbers and non-participant data are kept indefinitely for comparison and future retreat capacity planning.
Google is allowed to scan forms and data submitted to look for content that may be illegal, malicious, or a violation of Google’s Term Of Service. They do not retain the data collected by these scans. A similar process is used by Google to scan emails for illegal, malicious content, or spam. Using Google Forms is similar to using email from an anonymity and privacy perspective.
